The Pub Section and the student pub Villan<\/h2>\n

What is the Pub Section?<\/h2>\nKarlskrona's Pub Section is a section under Blekinge Student Union whose mission is to run the student pub Villan. We who are in the section work voluntarily to run the pub and ensure that we students have a place to come to socialize and let loose after a long week of studies. Read more below!\n

What is the student pub Villan?<\/h2>\n

Villan is a meeting place for all students at BTH. It is open on Fridays and Saturdays during the semester and offers seating for socializing and studying, food and drinks for student prices and during our Pub Nights we open up the magnificent dance floor. We also host many sittings and other bookings where the only limit is your imagination!<\/p>\n

The pub is run by volunteering students at BTH. These invaluable efforts make it possible to offer the campus the cheapest coffee, affordable refreshments, good food that doesn't swallow the entire student budget and a nightclub out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n

The student pub belongs to the Karlskrona Pub Section under Blekinge Student Union, and is thus ultimately governed by the members of the union. The Student Union moved from K\u00e5rhuset Rotundan in 2018. Our motto is \"By students, for students\", because if the student pub is to exist today and tomorrow, it needs the commitment of students and it is we who together create the meeting place that we want. Activities<\/h2>\n

Pub Nights<\/h3>\nPub nights are held on Saturdays from 21:00 to 02:00, when we open up our fantastic dance floor for a great party. This is the perfect place to meet students from different programs at BTH in an environment with a strong sense of community at student-friendly prices.\n

After School<\/h3>\nWe hold our After Schools on Fridays or Wednesdays between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM and offer a fairly quiet and pleasant hangout with good food and drinks at good prices to kick off the weekend!\n

Sittings<\/h3>\nSittings are not usually organised directly by the Pub Section but are largely held at Villan. However, many times it is other parts of Blekinge Student Union that hold the sittings, for example one of our educational associations, which welcome the students to nice dinners with fun surprises!\n

Rules<\/h2>\n

Note: The swedish alcohol law<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We, like every other pub in Sweden, follow the swedish alcohol law, therefore:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is forbidden to bring in and consume your own alcoholic beverages in our premises.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is forbidden to take bought beverages with you out from our premises.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You must not be visibly intoxicated on our premises.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

To enter Villan<\/h2>\n

In addition to always being able to show valid identification*, you should also be:<\/h3>\n

A student or staff at BTH<\/p>\n

Alumnus with BSK-supportmembership<\/p>\n

\u00a0Student and a member of any\u00a0SFS-affiliated union<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A BTH-card IS NOT a valid type of identification to get inside Villan. <\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

However, it can still be used to verify if you are a member of the Student Union when you leave you check in at the wardrobe.<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

Purchase Warning and Purchase freeze<\/h3>\nVid k\u00f6pvarning f\u00e5r ingen alkoholhaltig dryck k\u00f6pas.\nG\u00e4st som k\u00f6per alkoholhaltig dryck till en g\u00e4st med k\u00f6pvarning riskerar sj\u00e4lv att f\u00e5 liknande varning.\n\nVid k\u00f6pstopp skall g\u00e4sten omedelbart l\u00e4mna lokalen.\n

The Wardrobe<\/h3>\nYtterkl\u00e4der och v\u00e4skor skall ALLTID <\/strong>h\u00e4ngas in i garderoben! Du har ingen nytta av dem inomhus oavsett.\n\nVi ansvarar \u00e4ven ej f\u00f6r det som h\u00e4ngs in i garderoben.\n

Smoking<\/h3>\nLag (2018:2088) om tobak och liknande produkter har bland annat introducerat best\u00e4mmelser om fler r\u00f6kfria milj\u00f6er, som t.ex. vid entr\u00e9er till lokaler som allm\u00e4nheten har tilltr\u00e4de till.\n\nDenna lag g\u00f6r det f\u00f6rbjudet att f\u00f6rbruka tobak inom v\u00e5ra lokaler och i k\u00f6n till Villan.\nSanktioner kan och kommer tilldelas mot f\u00f6rbrytelser mot detta d\u00e5 v\u00e5rat alkoholtillst\u00e5nd kan dras in.\n\nNote: E-cigarettes are included in this.\n<\/strong>\n

Emergency Exit Band<\/h3>\nRyckning av n\u00f6dutg\u00e5ngshandtagen d\u00e4r det inte \u00e4r n\u00f6dfall resulterar i en debitering f\u00f6r h\u00e4ndelsen. Att beh\u00f6va spy r\u00e4knas inte som n\u00f6dfall.\n\nI det fall att g\u00e4sten inte \u00e4r i tillst\u00e5nd att betala s\u00e5 skickas en faktura till personen i fr\u00e5ga f\u00f6r h\u00e4ndelsen.\n
